ORACLE Concept SMD Sidemarker lights are complete sidemarker replacements fitted with high powered Bridgelux SMD LEDs that produce a laser-like appearance. Installation is easy! Just pop out the factory sidemarkers and connect the new ORACLE Concept Sidemarkers right into the stock plugs. These are available with Clear or Tinted lenses. If you choose to paint these products, please note that parts not properly painted with a UV clearcoat will not be covered under warranty. The clearcoat protects the acrylic parts from harmful UV damage and fills any pinholes preventing moisture issues. The lenses on the sidemarkers need to be raised higher than the OEM units in order to compensate for the inner components (Ie; circuit boards, LEDs, etc). This is for reasons mostly to do with heat, as excess heat decreases the lifespan of an LED dramatically, and the only way to decrease that possibility in an enclosed unit is airspace. Note: Custom paint may take 3 to 4 weeks to process.
